1. The Basics (Welcome to the Booth)

QJAY is a request management platform. By using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, you’re basically a "Request Denied." You must be at least 13 years old to use QJAY.

2. The "DJ is King" Rule (Moderation)

DJs have the absolute right to edit, delete, or ignore any request. Submitting a request does not create a contract. We don't guarantee your song will be played, even if you’re the best two-stepper in Houston.

3. Tipping & Third-Party Payments

QJAY provides a "digital bulletin board" for DJs to display tipping handles (Venmo, Cash App, etc.).

The Passive Conduit:

QJAY does not process these tips. Any disputes regarding tips are strictly between the patron and the DJ.

Subscriptions:

DJ subscriptions are processed via Stripe or Ko-fi. QJAY never sees your credit card number. All sales are final.

4. The "BYOK" (Bring Your Own Key) & APIs

DJs using Spotify integration acknowledge they are using their own developer credentials and must abide by Spotify’s Developer Terms. QJAY is not responsible for API rate limits or service interruptions from Spotify or Last.fm.

5. Limitation of Liability (The "Oops" Clause)

QJAY is provided "as-is." If the app goes down during a peak set at Neon Boots (or any other venue), QJAY is not liable for lost tips, grumpy patrons, or a silent dance floor.

6. Governing Law & Arbitration

These terms are governed by Texas Law. Any disputes will be settled via binding arbitration in Harris County, Texas, rather than in a courtroom.
